This sunny and warm weather is perfection in mid-September.

Yesterday, we went on a date with the dog. We went and had a sausage on a bun for lunch from a shack in town. So delicious!! After we went for a short five minute drive to the beach in Dunnville. I have never been and we weren't sure how the dog would react to a beach. For the record his brain short circuited. His sniffer was in over-drive and the tail would not stop wagging. He was rolling in the sand and digging. Dog heaven. ❤

Lake Erie was warm and the beach was super soft and best of all empty. Literally only 6 other people besides ourselves. It was lovely.

We forgot to bring a towel for the dog however, so my husband's car is full of sand smells fishy 😆

Afterwards, we came home and I made ham and baked potatoes for supper.

The perfect ending for a great weekend.
