Can you believe the weather today? Sunny and warm during the day and lovely and cool over the course of the night. I could live with this weather all the time honestly.

Our brunch Saturday was fantastic followed by a lazy drive up to Sydenham Lookout to see the view of Hamilton.

We picked up the maple syrup as planned and took a tour of all the back roads home. Hardly any traffic. Just beautiful homes and multi-color trees. It was almost suppertime by the time we made it home.

Sunday, we went to family friends and had a lovely early Thanksgiving at their place. Turkey, ham and all the fixings followed by apple crisp. Perfection. We waddled out of there and didn't even bother having anything for supper. It was a FEED. 🥙

I am not cooking a big feast for Thanksgiving this October. I will make the usual lasagne and those who are home can eat it fresh or it reheats well. I gave up spending all day in the kitchen a few years ago only to have so many leftovers that either do not reheat well or go to waste.

Must go. Only a few hours of work left and then home for some peace and quiet. Have a great day folks!!
