We are one month into the renovation and both the husband and I agree we will NEVER do this again. Holy crap the mess is UNREAL. Drywall dust gets everywhere. It doesn't matter if doors are closed or if everything is covered in blankets. It's covered in dust. We have made some progress however....
We have ripped up the tile floors....
We ripped up all the cabinets. (except one with the sink)
We painted the hallways....
Most important and best of all is that we made the house open concept.
That beam just lets so much light into the house...
Now that we have deconstructed, we are now slowly reconstructing...
Today he was painting some more and burning some more scrap. We've taken two trailers full to the dump and burned probably another one full of wood.
I've donated three car loads of stuff to charity and by the time we are moved in, there will probably be another two car loads full.
Anyone want to help me spring clean? Don't wear black....😎
