It seems like forever since I have blogged and it is NO wonder. It HAS been ages. 

The last time I was here, we were knee deep in the renovation. It , HANDS DOWN, was the longest one and the messiest one. It almost broke us, but we slogged through and can proudly say it is done and we did it.

I'm sure it is now become our favourite room of the house. I love the open concept and I can honestly say I am obsessed with the new flooring. Since this picture has been taken, the wavy subway tile has been installed on the back-splash as well. Would we renovate another kitchen? Oh Gawd NO. 😝 But.... we did build a high end kitchen with all the bells and whistles for a quarter of the price if we had hired a contractor. For that we pat ourselves on our crippled backs. 😝

We have sworn off construction projects for a while. We had a lovely weekend in that, I cleaned my car , inside and out. We shaved the dog and set up the screened in porch with the patio furniture (only 2 months late). 

Its lovely in the summer and bugs won't eat us alive. Hahaha!!!

We did lots of little odd jobs that have been put off for ages and ages. I still have a few things to do this coming weekend, but they won't take long and then I can relax.
