Good morning!!

Oh what a fabulous extra long weekend I had!! Lots of sunshine. Lots of food and lots of amazing live music!!

This particular weekend has been my favourite for years, simply for the live music alone. Friday night after work, I headed home, inhaled a bit of food and then we headed to Port Colborne for Canal Days. That night we saw two amazing bands.

Sloan was the first band we saw Friday night. The first set was a bit underwhelming but the second set had us dancing and singing along.

Next up was Big Sugar. We only stayed for the first set for them because the temperature dropped to 12 degrees Celcius and we were NOT dressed properly. We were FREEZING. So much fun though.

Saturday was a crazy day in that we had to drive out to an engagment party in St. Catharines before heading back home to pick our daughter up, grab some food and back to Canal Days for more live music. 

Saturday night started us off with Finger Eleven. Hands down the best concerts I've seen in a very long time!!! I could have listened to them for another two hours but alas....

Next up was the Trews. Another local band that gets LOTS of radio play. So friggen good.

Sunday was a super lazy day catching up on sleep from many late nights. Something us old folks aren't used to. LOL

Back at work today. Fairly quiet day in the office. As usual the phone is out of order and the office manager is AWOL. 😝
